Aluminium

Aluminium is moderately light in weight and provides an extremely smooth, very rigid and perfectly flat substrate for the mounting of all works. The sheeting we use has been treated on both sides to stop any corrosion that could occur over time. This special treatment also provides a scratch-free and blemish-free surface. The sheets are 1.2mm thick and come in a range of sizes.

After mounting on aluminium your work can be displayed in a variety of ways. You can mount your print and then frame it, use it as a backing behind floated images, display your print mounted from edge to edge of the aluminium. Or, centrally mounting your image will provide you with a superb, frameless appearance.

We can mount a large range of papers onto aluminium, but for the most premium result, this substrate is undoubtedly the best and smoothest surface to mount down gloss and high gloss photographic images.
